The Book Depository's sales in its latest financial year have increased by more than 20% to £74.2m. For the year ending June 2010, sales increased by more than £12.7m.
The internet retailer, which won the BDS Direct Bookselling Award at the Bookseller Industry Awards in May, refused to disclose profits for the business.
It said among the successes in 09/10 were the addition of more than 300,000 e-books to purchase from its site as well as numerous promotions, including giving away thousands of e-books and a "design a bookmark" competition.
Kieron Smith, managing director of the business, said: "This year has seen some tremendous developments for customers and a huge extension of the number of titles we can dispatch to more than five million. We continue to add countries to our free worldwide shipping offer and new customers are discovering us every day."
