Amazon Charts: The Couple at No 9 moves into the top

Claire Douglas' The Couple at No 9 (Penguin) has leapfrogged Richard Osman's The Man Who Died Twice (Penguin) to hit the Amazon Charts' Most-Sold: Fiction number one.

The psychological thriller has been steadily climbing the Amazon rankings, and its e-book has spent several weeks in the Bookstat chart number one since publication.

Frank Herbert's Dune (Gateway) rocketed into third place in Most-Sold: Fiction, as its film adaptation dropped in UK cinemas.

Billy Connolly's Windswept & Interesting (Two Roads) held the Most-Sold: Non-Fiction top spot. The memoir earned the "all ears" tag, meaning more readers listened to the title on Audible than read it on their Kindles last week. The comedian's Tall Tales and Wee Stories (Two Roads), a Christmas 2019 hit, also returned to the top 20.
