The Bookseller 100 is an annual list of the 100 most influential people in UK publishing.
First published in 2009, the list is made up of publishers, retailers, authors, members of the media and more.
The Bookseller 100 named a 101st for the first time in 2012, the person in the industry we think has stood out just a little bit more than the others.
Since 2015, the list has been split into a number of categories:
The 20 entries who have been on every The Bookseller 100 list since its inception in 2009.
People who are on the list for the first time.
Those who have returned to the list who were not on The Bookseller 100 in 2014.
The people who are key decision makers and the leading forces of their companies—and the industry.
The negotiators, agents and managers who match illustrators, authors and other talent with publishers.
The people steering the trade in different paths with new initiatives and/or technology developments.
The authors, illustrators and content makers.
The people who have set the agenda and shaped the ideas in the last 12 months.
Often the behind the scenes fixers, those who consistently move the industry forward.
