Titan falls for Emily Paxman's 'cosy, post-apocalyptic romance'
Titan Books has acquired Emily Paxman’s All We Have Left, a "cosy, post-apocalyptic romance" set on the islands of Canada’s Pacific Northwest coast, where the author lives.
Fiction editor Katie Dent acquired world English language rights, including audio, from Penelope Burns at Gelfman Schneider Literary Agents. Publication is scheduled for June 2026.
"The story follows a young woman 30 years after the end of the world, who enters into a marriage of convenience with a man she hardly knows so she can secure vital medical care for her beloved younger sister," the synopsis says. "Weaving a world that is post-apocalyptic yet hopeful and suffused with natural beauty, All We Have Left delivers on wholesome, cosy romance with plenty of chemistry and slow-burn tension."
