One More Chapter clinches TikToker Abbie Eaton's fantasy romance debut
TikToker Abbie Eaton has secured a three-book deal, the first book, Dragonhart, being an enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance.
One More Chapter publishing director Jennie Rothwell acquired world all-language rights from Vicki Marsdon at High Spot Literary.
One More Chapter said: “Dragonhart features the fiery chemistry of two rivals forced to work together, as seen in Rebecca Yarros’ Fourth Wing, with a richly immersive world of dragons and magic, like Sarah A Parker’s When The Moon Hatched. Arla Reinhart, personal assassin to the King of Hadalyn, doesn’t believe in the gods and their dragons who once served the people – not after they abandoned her when she needed them most.”
The synopsis reads: “Forced into working with the arrogant, yet unmistakably handsome, ambassador of the kingdom that killed her parents, Arla must place her hatred for Hark Stappen to one side as they journey across kingdoms, dining with royalty and fighting in taverns, and make an alarming discovery that shatters her heart and forces her to question everything – and everyone – she knows.”
