Kristen Britain joins The Broken Binding Publishing for next books in the Green Rider series
The Broken Binding Publishing has signed the next three instalments in Kristen Britain’s Green Rider series and one standalone fantasy novel.
Publishing director Marcus Gipps secured UK and Commonwealth rights from Danny Baror of Baror International. The Last Sea King, the ninth book in the series, will be published in June 2027.
The publisher described the Green Rider series as "traditional fantasy with an unlikely hero, a young woman who must step into the role of a Green Rider, one of the king’s most trusted messengers".
Britain said: “I am thrilled to be embarking on a new adventure with The Broken Binding Publishing, a vibrant, energetic group of book lovers known for producing gorgeous, collectable special editions, including for my Green Rider fantasy series. Now that they have moved into the world of publishing original editions, I look forward to seeing what magic they will conjure up for my future books.”
Gipps added: "I have been a fan of the Green Rider series for over a decade now, and it is a huge honour to continue the series. But to also have the promise of a new standalone fantasy from an author of Kristen’s skill and stature is just amazing for a new imprint."
