Harriman House, an imprint of Pan Macmillan, is set to publish “longevity pioneer” Bryan Johnson’s guide to slowing the ageing process. Commissioning editor Nick Fletcher acquired world rights to Don’t Die directly from the author and his publishing attorney. It is scheduled for publication in late 2027.
Johnson is an entrepreneur and tech mogul who has spent years “surrounded by a multi-million-dollar lab, his team of doctors and scientists, and AI to uncover the systems and protocols that will make us the first generation of humans who don’t die”. In Don’t Die, he shares everything he has learned about slowing the ageing process during his years of scientific investigation. The synopsis continues: “The book distils the method, protocols, metrics and tools for readers to leverage at home so that they can develop their own blueprint to maximise longevity and healthspan based on their budget, desired level of effort, and time.”
The publisher described the book as a “practical, one-stop-shop guide that provides a new approach to personal transformation” and is organised by the pillars of health and wellness: sleep, nutrition, fitness, personal care, mental and social wellbeing and our senses.
Fletcher said: “As an editor with a longstanding interest in the field of longevity, I have had Bryan Johnson in my sights for several years. The wait has been long because Bryan, who is deeply invested in the truth and transparency of his craft, was reluctant to write this book until he had personally tested and learned enough information to make it life-changing for his readers. Now that we have reached that point, Don’t Die represents the next paradigm shift in health and wellness reading, giving the reader access to a longer, healthier and happier life at a minute fraction of what those results cost Bryan.”
