Farshore unveils Beano publishing programme with new titles and covers
Farshore has renewed its publishing partnership with Beano Studios, with a new programme of titles spanning 2026 to 2028.
The deal was signed by Zoe Masters, publisher, brands and licensing at Farshore, and Rob Glenny, executive director of Growth at Beano, for world English-language rights.
The new suite of publishing celebrates the 75th anniversary of Dennis the Menace in 2026, with Farshore marking the occasion with a “bold new look” for the Beano fiction series, written by Craig Graham and Mike Stirling (pictured).
Dennis the Menace: Mischief at the Museum, scheduled for 4th June 2026, will debut the new cover design, followed by a new Beano Joke Book on 2nd July 2026.
Meanwhile, 2027 will see Farshore and Beano Studios launch two new graphic novel series. The first Dennis & Gnasher graphic novel will be published in March 2027, followed in July 2027 by a new graphic novel series featuring Bananaman. This will “unpeel the origin story with expanded storytelling and fresh new graphic style” by writer Ned Hartley and artist Wayne Thompson.

This year is a big anniversary year for Dennis the Menace and we feel very privileged to be able to contribute towards the next chapter of his story. Bananaman is another iconic character who has been loved across the generations for more than 45 years. It is an exciting time for Beano with must-have-moments for retail and our consumers full of mischief, mayhem and, of course, plenty of laughter.”
