Farrago scoops publishing rights to The Madame Blanc Mysteries TV series
Farrago, Duckworth Books’ humorous fiction imprint, has acquired the world publishing rights to The Madame Blanc Mysteries, a Channel 5 and Acorn TV Original, as well as to Bert Tyler-Moore’s Windsor vs Windsor, inspired by Channel 4’s "The Windsors".
The Madame Blanc Mysteries books will be authored by the creator and star of the series Sally Lindsay and launch in November 2026 with an original prequel, Madame Blanc and the Antique Affair, “revealing exclusive backstory” in which Jean – Madame Blanc – makes an early stunning antiques find, only for one of the sellers to be found murdered, and the antiques vanished without trace. Publication will be supported by a media campaign in partnership with Saffron Cherry Productions.
Lindsay said: “I’m thrilled to announce that the Madame Blanc Mysteries are coming to print. Our wonderful fans have been asking for more of Jean’s adventures – and you can discover her story before she even arrived in Sainte Victoire, in our very first novel… We can’t wait to share this next chapter.”
Meanwhile, publishing in July 2026, Windsor vs Windsor is described as a “gleefully outrageous, razor-sharp lampoon of Britain’s most famous family”. The description reads: “When Prince Harry sues Prince William for ‘wilful and malicious sibling rivalry’, it’s not just the brothers on trial – suddenly the very suitability of Wills and Kate as Britain’s future King and Queen is thrown into doubt.”
The author, Bert Tyler-Moore, is a British TV comedy writer best known for the Channel 4 series Star Stories, Pete Versus Life, and The Windsors, which he co-created with George Jeffrie.
