DK to publish Bear Grylls' newest children's book

DK is set to publish Bear Grylls’ newest children’s book. Katy Flint, senior acquisitions editor for DK, acquired world rights to YOU Decide YOUR Adventure from Silvia Molteni, head of children’s books, and Lucy Irvine at PFD. The latest acquisition follows on from 2023’s You vs the World. The book will be published in hardback in the UK (29th May) and US (27th May).

The book follows Bear in an adventure across snow-capped mountains, craggy cliffs, exposed grassland, dense forests, and raging water rapids. Throughout, readers will be prompted to "think fast and make key survival decisions, revealing which page to turn to in the book next". The synopsis continues: "Bear himself will be there to help guide and give handy tips and tricks – but the decisions will be completely in the hands of the readers."

Flint said: "This book will take kids right into the heart of a Bear Grylls adventure, making instant decisions and inspiring them to find their own way to the end. We also loved seeing the book come to life through the wonderful illustrations of Jake Alexander."
