DK and Lightstorm Entertainment, James Cameron’s film and television production company, will work together in a five-book publishing partnership to celebrate the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, with new titles set to be released across late 2025 and early 2026.
This follows a similar publishing programme for Avatar: The Way of the Water, which has seen over 450,000 books sold worldwide, according to the publisher.
World rights were acquired by DK+, and DK will be the exclusive publisher of Avatar books in the UK. The list will begin with two releases in November, ahead of December’s theatrical release, with an updated edition of The World of Avatar and Avatar: Fire and Ash Ultimate Sticker Book.
Two brand new titles will be published the following month, in-date with the film on 19th December. The Making of Avatar: The Creation of Pandora will take readers behind the scenes across the Avatar franchise, while Avatar: Fire and Ash: The Visual Dictionary will explore the characters, equipment and settings of Avatar: Fire and Ash.

Rounding out the list is the Avatar Bioluminescent Colouring Book, publishing in early 2026.
Joshua Izzo, executive vice-president of franchise development, Lightstorm Entertainment, said: "After the incredible global success of the Avatar: The Way of Water publishing programme, we could not be more excited and thrilled to be continuing our partnership with DK to bring the world of Avatar: Fire and Ash to life in print. The attention to detail and creative care that goes into every page of a DK title really helps build upon, and bring home, an immersive Avatar experience."
Mark Searle, MD of DK+, added: "Avatar is one of the greatest feats of cinema. We can’t wait to return to Pandora again this December and for fans everywhere to find out more from our compelling range of books coming in partnership with our friends at Lightstorm."
