Century has acquired What’s Your Story? by entrepreneur, social media creator, and author of What’s Your Dream?, Simon Squibb.
Callum Crute, former senior editor at Century acquired world rights from Adam Gauntlett at PFD. Century publishing director Ben Brusey will publish the book, with publication scheduled for 31st December 2026. Paul Whitlatch at Crown Currency, an imprint of The Crown Publishing Group, PRH US, will publish the book – described as “a practical guide to developing one of the most important skills for success in life and work: the ability to tell your story” – in the US.
In What’s Your Story?, Squibb argues that “success depends not only on having a dream, but on persuading other people to believe in it too” and explores “how powerful storytelling can help people to forge relationships, win customers, attract investors, build communities and create opportunities”.
Squibb, who started his first business while homeless aged 15 before going on to found HelpBnk, said: “Everyone has a story worth telling, but most people never learn how to communicate it in a way that inspires others to take action. The truth is that opportunities don’t just come from having a great idea – they come from being able to share that idea with confidence and authenticity. I want this book to help people unlock the power of their own story and use it to build the life they truly want.”
Brusey commented: “Simon Squibb has become one of the world’s most inspiring entrepreneurial voices by combining hard-won experience with infectious optimism and generosity. What’s Your Story? distils the lessons behind his extraordinary success building businesses, communities and a global online audience. Just as What’s Your Dream? inspired hundreds of thousands of readers, this essential and empowering new book is set to win hearts and minds all over again. It offers a joyful blueprint for readers to find success, personally and professionally. We couldn’t be prouder at Century to help Simon on his mission.”
