Bloomsbury Continuum has signed What If Reform Wins: A Scenario by Peter Chappell, a "timely and deeply researched exploration" of how Reform’s policies could change the United Kingdom if they win a majority in the next general election.
Tomasz Hoskins and Octavia Stocker acquired world all-language rights from Elizabeth Sheinkman at PFD, with publication in hardback scheduled for 30th April 2026.
Hoskins said: "The question that Peter Chappell asks is one many readers share. What could happen if the polls are right and Nigel Farage is our next prime minister? This is going to be a must-read for anyone wondering how Britain would cope under a populist right-wing government."
Chappell said: "This book tells the story – minute by minute, day by day – of how Reform will collide with the British state if the polls are correct and they demolish the two-party system at the next election. I’ve spoken to everyone from sworn enemies of the Whitehall establishment to the people behind the scenes charged with upholding the checks and balances in the face of a Farage insurgency.
"If readers thought Liz Truss’ premiership was chaotic, it will be nothing compared to Farage in Downing Street. But as the dust settles on election night and Farage begins to govern, how would his party go about carrying out their most controversial policies, and what would be the cultural backlash? What If Reform Wins sets out to forecast just how fragile Britain is to a hostile takeover at the next election, and provide clues for how it could be prevented."
