Waterstone's, Liverpool

Few British cities have as strong a sense of self-identity as Liverpool, and the Bold Street branch of Waterstone's holds a mirror to the city it serves.

Inside the store, it is difficult to forget where you are. Many of the shop's sections have shelves singling out books of local interest, and a Liverpool Fiction bay spotlights novels either written or set in the city, including nationally popular saga series by Katie Flynn, Joan Jonker and Maureen Lee.
