From Legacy Recipes to All Back to Mine: Late Night Food, the easy, budget-friendly recipe chapters are prefaced with advice on such perils as surviving deadlines, cooking for one, and navigating heartbreak. There are checklists of kitchen equipment and store cupboard essentials too. I would have loved to have seen illustrator Rutherford credited on the cover though.
