Dead Straight Line

Malcolm Duffy
Sixteen-year-old Rory comes up with a game called “dead straight line”; players have to go home in a straight line, even if that means crossing strangers’ gardens, locked parks or private property. When the game goes wrong and someone gets hurt, Rory is sent to help out at a care home, where he meets Tanker, an 80-year-old military veteran.
