Zaffre has signed a new six-book deal with bestselling saga author Rosie Goodwin.
Senior editor Sarah Bauer acquired world rights including audio for six new novels by Goodwin from Sheila Crowley at Curtis Brown.
The first book under the new contract will publish in October 2020, as Zaffre launch a new series from Goodwin–the Precious Stones series–with a hardback novel (title to be revealed soon). The aim is to publish two books a year from Goodwin in hardback and paperback.
Time to Say Goodbye, the final novel in Rosie’s Days of the Week collection, inspired by the Victorian "Days of the Week" rhyme, will be published in hardback in March 2020. Zaffre will also be releasing four digital shorts by Goodwin in audio and e-book later this year. Goodwin's latest novel, A Precious Gift, has meanwhile been shortlisted for an RNA for the Romantic Saga Award.
Goodwin said: "I am delighted to have agreed a new six-book contract with the wonderful team at Bonnier Books UK for an exciting brand-new series following the success of my Days of the Week collection."
Bauer, senior editor at Bonnier Books UK, said: "I am incredibly excited to have acquired six more novels from the fantastic Rosie Goodwin, who always writes with such incredible warmth and heart. I am ecstatic to continue working with her and to launch this brilliant new series which I know her readers–old and new–will adore."
Crowley at Curtis Brown added: "I love collaborating with Rosie and Bonnier Books UK in this publishing partnership and look forward to celebrating more bestsellers together."
Goodwin has sold 796,649 books for £3.84m, with her bestseller Dilly’s Sacrifice, on 46,979 copies sold in paperback.
