The 25th anniversary of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury in 2014 will be marked by a year-long marketing campaign.
Walker Books is promising “major third-party consumer and charity partnerships” to promote the classic children's book.
We’re Going on a Bear Hunt has now sold over eight million copies worldwide, Walker said.
A special edition paperback will be released in January, with releases in board book, baby record book and sound chip book formats over the following months.
A series of Bear Hunt storytelling events will be held at literary and family festivals throughout 2014, alongside media coverage, a dedicated website and social media identities.
