Lucy Malagoni, publisher at Sphere Fiction, described him as “one of the most entrepreneurial and dynamic publishers in the business”. She said: “I am delighted he will be stepping up at Sphere, continue to publish his authors exceptionally and also pioneer creative thinking across the business in his role as IP director.”
Wood said: “I’m thrilled to be taking on the role of publishing director for Sphere Fiction, without question the most innovative, effective and powerful commercial imprint in the UK. I look forward to taking my existing authors to soaring new heights and finding amazing new talent, as well as working as IP director to help guide in-house project development across Little, Brown and the wider Hachette family, producing creative partnerships with authors that can launch careers or propel others onwards and upwards.”
