Granta has won a five-way auction for a book from Telegraph wine writer Victoria Moore.
Wine Dine Dictionary is a guide to pairing wine with food, arranged A to Z by food at one end, and A to Z by wine the other.
Editorial director Laura Barber acquired world rights from David Higham Associates. She said: "When we read the proposal, we couldn’t believe this book didn’t exist already – Wine Dine Dictionary really does feel like the book that’s currently missing from everyone’s kitchen shelves. It’s a genius idea and, in Victoria’s hands, it’s got the potential to become a food and drink classic. The entire team at Granta is excited to be working with Victoria again on what is already set to be our big book of 2016."
Moore has previously written How to Drink (Granta).
