Orion Children's Books has acquired a new series by TV presenter Holly Willoughby and her sister, Kelly Willoughby.
Publisher and m.d. for Orion Children's Books Fiona Kennedy bought world rights in the series, L'Etoile, School for Stars, from John Knight at James Grant Media.
The first book in the stage-school series will be First Term at L'Etoile, to be published on 20th June 2013, followed by Second Term at L'Etoile later in the summer.
Kennedy said: "Holly and Kelly have a long-held ambition to write together and they do it beautifully. We're delighted to welcome them to Orion Children's Books with these glittering, glamorous stories of drama, dance, midnight feasts and makeovers—they're a pleasure to read, reminiscent of all those heart-warming school stories that have engaged readers for generations, but with Holly and Kelly's own very distinct voice and style."
Holly Willoughby is the co-host of ITV's "This Morning", and also works on "Surprise Surprise" and "The Voice".
