WHS opens sixth airport Books shop in Bristol

<p>W H Smith is to have six standalone branded book stores in airports by next spring, the retailer has revealed in its annual report. The chain will open a W H Smith Books store at Bristol airport in Spring 2006, following the opening of branded bookshops at London Luton airport and the conversion of an existing site at Gatwick's North Terminal into W H Smith Books. Its five airport stores this year delivered sales growth of 7%. WHS also plans to open further standalone high street book stores this year following trials in Barnet and Torquay.
