White Star launches mind, body and spirit imprint

Italian-based publishing house White Star is to launch a new imprint in the UK, specialising in wellness titles. 

Vivida will publish titles related to self-help, self-development and mind, body, spirit in spring 2021, with particular emphasis on the occult. Tarot, oracles, lunar phases, magic, spirituality are some of the themes of forthcoming books. Silvia Lazzaris' self-help book Honjok and Francesca Matteoni's The Grunge Tarot are two of 10 titles set to be published next year. 

Balthazar Pagani, publisher at Vivida Books, said: "Vivida means vibrant and full of life. Through pop-spirit, modern and engaging graphics, the forthcoming titles will talk about mysterious, mystic and spiritual topics to a large and curious audience. We have built a dedicated editorial team with talented and experienced authors to develop a publishing plan that starts with 10 projects ready to be launched in 2021."

The imprint intends to "evaluate diverse co-publishing partners", and its titles will solely be available for rights and co-editions deals. Sales will be handled by Nicolò Boggio, and enquiries should directed to rights@whitestar.it
