What hype?

<p>Almost as many words have been written about Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in the past week as copies of the novel have been sold, so it is not surprising that some of them have been critical. Overall, there is no evidence yet that the critics have decided that the time has come for a backlash: most early reviews, even those with caveats, have been kindly. Of course, we have heard some familiar gripes: J K Rowling is no prose stylist, she should have sent Harry to a comprehensive, and so on.
