Westzone Publishing goes into liquidation

<p>Westzone Publishing, the illustrated publisher launched last year, has gone into liquidation. It had run into severe cashflow problems following the collapse of Bailey Distribution, which owed Westzone &#163;175,000.</p><p>The company, founded by entrepreneur Gavin Aldred, aimed to publish up to 30 lavishly illustrated titles a year, generating turnover of up to &#163;3.5m. Grant Thornton was appointed as liquidator on 12th June. It is not yet known whether any creditors will recover funds. Westzone's former directors were unavailable for comment.</p>
