Weldon 'optimistic' amid pandemic as consumer demand soars

Penguin Random House UK c.e.o. Tom Weldon has praised the resilience of the book trade in an interview at FutureBook 2020, asserting the challenge this year in the face of the pandemic has been “one of supply” while “extraordinary” consumer demand has “only been reinforced by Covid”.
