Waterstone's drops Bertrams for Xmas

<p>Waterstone's will not use Bertrams or any other central storage facility for promoted titles this Christmas. The news will be welcomed by publishers. Last year's decision to use wholesaler Bertrams as a central warehouse drew criticism from publishers, who were angry that key titles were not available in some branches. </p><p>The news came as marketing director Lesley Miles and operations director Philip Klette presented publishers with Waterstone's campaign for 2001.
