David Walliams captured his second consecutive UK number one in a strong half-term week for the children’s sector, which also saw a brace of vloggers and five Mr Men colouring books début in the top 50.
 
Walliams’ The World’s Worst Children (HarperCollins Children’s Books) shifted 50,405 units through Nielsen BookScan’s Total Consumer Market for just under £373,000 to easily top the charts, bettering Paula Hawkins’s second-placed The Girl on the Train (Black Swan) by some 12,000 copies—it was, however, Hawkins’ fifth Mass Market Fiction number one on the trot.
