Sphere has acquired a follow-up to Very British Problems: Making Life Awkward for Ourselves, One Rainy Day at a Time by Rob Temple.
Senior editor Hannah Boursnell acquired world rights in Very British Problems Abroad from Juliet Mushens at The Agency Group.
The book will tackle “such pressing issues as the impossibility of finding decent cup of tea on holiday and queuing anarchy at popular tourist spots”.
Boursnell said: “I am so pleased to be working with Rob on another Very British Problems book. The response to the first book was incredible and I can’t wait to read Rob’s undoubtedly very funny take on the awfulness of middle-aged British men in socks and sandals.”
Very Britsh Problems Abroad will be published as an illustrated hardback and e-book in October 2015.
A new edition of Very British Problems: Making Life Awkward for Ourselves, One Rainy Day at a Time book will be published in paperback in October 2014, updated with a new chapter.
