Verso Books has promoted Jennifer Tighe to marketing director.
Tighe was previously publicity and marketing manager at Verso. In her new role she will be responsible for website marketing and strategy, social media strategy, academic marketing, as well as working on publicity for key titles.
Sales and marketing director Rowan Wilson said: “Jenny has been a powerhouse behind the launch of our e-commerce site – its sensational success last year, where we made over £500,000 in the first nine months, and its continued growth owes a huge amount to her amazing work. As we develop our online presence, working to push sales in the high street and online, Jenny’s innovative ideas and sharp focus will be absolutely key."
Verso also recently promoted Sarah Shin from senior publicist to communications director.
