Vermillion acquires two self-help titles

<p>Ebury imprint Vermillion has signed a new two-book deal with self-help expert Leil Lowndes. <br /><br />Vermillion commissioning editor Julia Kellaway acquired exclusive UK and British Commonwealth rights, including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and India, from Lisa Queen at the Queen Literary Agency. <br /><br />The first book in the deal will be <em>How To Instantly Connect With Anyone</em>, and will be published in September 2010. The book is a collection of 96 communication techniques for &quot;success in love, life and business&quot;. It will show how to meet new people and speak with confidence as well as being credible and charismatic. The second book in the deal will follow in September 2011.<br /><br />Kellaway said: &quot;It&rsquo;s with great delight that we welcome Leil Lowndes to the Vermilion list, to join such renowned self-help authors as Susan Jeffers, Spencer Johnson and Dale Carnegie.
