Angry Robot has worked with author Matt Forbeck to create a novel which mixes vampires with the sinking of the "Titanic".
Publishing director Marc Gascoigne bought world rights directly from author Forbeck to the title, Carpathia.
The novel sees a handful of "Titanic" travellers being rescued, only to find out the ship that saves them is full of vampires.
Gascoigne said: "When Matt and I first sat down to discuss the concept I was hooked instantly. With the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic due next April, we are sure to be bombarded by the usual array of documentaries and re-runs of a certain Di Caprio film—but this is going to turn that on its head.
"Matt has a genuine talent for cinematic writing, and Carpathia is going to be like 'Titanic' meets '30 Days of Night'".
Angry Robot will publish in paperback, e-book and audio formats in March 2012.
