HarperCollins is reprinting 150,000 copies of Amelia Freer's Eat. Nourish. Glow., after it was recommended by singer Sam Smith.
Freer's book is one of the first to be released under the revamped Harper Thorsons list, dedicated to mind, body and spirit. It was published in print and digital on 1st January as the lead title for the imprint, which was founded 85 years ago.
Freer is a nutritional therapist, who works with a number of high profile clients. The book shares her top 10 tips for losing weight and improving health. Smith, the winner of four Grammy Awards and two Brits, recently shared a picture on photo-sharing site Instagram posing with the book, and said: "Three weeks ago I met a woman who has completely changed my life. Amelia Freer has helped me lose over a stone in 2 weeks and has completely transformed my relationship with food." The picture was liked more than 150,000 times.
NonFiction editorial director Carolyn Thorne said: “We’re all thrilled for Amelia. A well-deserved success for an inspirational woman who thrives on helping people change their eating habits for the better."
Eat. Nourish. Glow. has been at the top of the Amazon bestseller chart, and is currently at number three, despite being out of stock. HarperCollins said the reprinted copies would be available in mid-April. It has sold 10,535 copies to date through Nielsen BookScan.
