Bloomsbury imprint Absolute Press has signed two new cookbooks from TV chef Tom Kerridge.
The deal comes as Bloomsbury announce strong Christmas trading, led by cookbooks sales, including Kerridge's Proper Pub Food, published in August 2013.
Publisher Jon Croft signed world rights to the books in a deal with Borra Garson at Deborah McKenna Ltd.
Croft said: "Publishing Tom Kerridge’s first book, Proper Pub Food, has been such great fun and a real privilege for us all at Absolute and Bloomsbury. Tom is a remarkable talent and quite the nicest person you could wish to meet. And he writes and cooks like a dream! And to cap it all he has given us the most extraordinary bestseller and taken the book world by storm."
Kerridge is the patron chef of The Hand and Flowers pub in Marlow, the only pub in the UK with two Michelin stars.
"Tom Kerridge's Proper Pub Food" was a series shown on BBC2 in the autumn.
