Two memoirs for Robson Press

Biteback imprint the Robson Press has signed two books on colourful characters.

Jeremy Robson, publisher of the Robson Press, has signed world rights to the memoirs of Michael Winner's PA, Dinah May, who was his assistant, sounding board and PA for more than 30 years. Surviving Michael Winner: A 30 Year Odyssey will be published in September, recalling her experiences of working with the film director and columnist.

Robson also signed UK and Commonwealth rights to the second volume of Stanley Johnson's memoirs, in a deal with Jonathan Lloyd at Curtis Brown.

Stanley I Resume; Further Recollections an an Exuberant Life, will be published at the end of September. Johnson is a former MEP and writer, and the father of Mayor of London Boris Johnson.
