Corsair has signed two new novels from Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Jennifer Egan.
It is one of the first signings for the Constable & Robinson imprint since C&R became a division of Little, Brown Book Group.
Corsair publisher James Gurbutt, who published Egan's A Visit From the Goon Squad in 2011, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights for two books in a deal with Felicity Blunt at Curtis Brown.
Gurbutt said: "I am delighted to be working with Jennifer Egan again. Her new novel, as yet unfinished, is as dazzling as I’ve seen. Jennifer is one of the finest writers of her generation, a joy to publish; it doesn’t get much better than that."
Little, Brown published Egan's The Keep in 2007, meaning her backlist will now be reunited at Corsair.
Egan said: "I’m thrilled to be reunited not only with James Gurbutt and Corsair, who have done a splendid job publishing Goon Squad and my backlist in the UK, but also with Little, Brown, who I loved working with on The Keep. I couldn’t ask for more."
Corsair has not yet confirmed a publication date for the next book to be published.
