Tutu relative’s tale of shared humanity a hit

Mungi Ngomane’s Everyday Ubuntu has been of “tremendous interest” overseas after being acquired by Transworld.

The book by the granddaughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu explores the South African philosophy of the “importance of our shared humanity”.

It has been pre-empted in Germany (Goldmann) and Spain (PRH Grupo Editorial), and HarperCollins won Dutch rights in a six-way auction. Offers from France are under discussion.
