Travel distributor cuts small publishers

<p>World Leisure Marketing, the travel book distributor, is to stop representing small maps and guides publishers to concentrate on the "premier league" of travel publishers. Eighteen publishers, with combined retail sales worth &#163;1.25m, have been jettisoned, reducing WLM's list by more than 3,000 lines. They include National Geographic Maps, Global and IGN Maps.</p><p>WLM, formed in 1991, will retain what it described as the "premier league" of guide publishers: Lonely Planet, Cadogan, Everyman, Farm Holiday Guides and Cicerone Press.
