Trapeze will publish a "groundbreaking and original" investigation into Donald Trump revealing new accusations of sexual misconduct later this year.
Trapeze, Seven Dials and Spring executive publisher Anna Valentine bought UK and Commonwealth rights for All the President’s Women: Donald Trump and the Making of a Predator from Amber Hoover at Perseus Books, an imprint of Hachette Book Group USA.
All the President’s Women by Pulitzer Prize-nominated journalist Barry Levine and Paris-based journalist Monique El-Faizy will be published simultaneously with the US on 22nd October 2019 in print, eBook, and audio.
Based on original reporting conducted over several years, Levine and El-Faizy "have carried out an extensive new look at Donald Trump's relationships with women, revealing new accusations of sexual misconduct, exploring the roots of his alleged predatory behaviour, and illustrating how Trump's presidency has helped catalyse the #MeToo movement and revitalise women's activism," said Trapeze.
Valentine said: "This is an important story that deserves to be told, and one that Monique and Barry handle sensitively, intelligently and compassionately. I hope this book will make shockwaves around the world, shining a light on the true nature of the of the man currently residing in the White House and giving a voice to all victims of the patriarchal power structures that have enabled such behaviour to go unchecked for too long."
