Transworld pair top fiction charts

Lee Child and Paula Hawkins have given Transworld two chart-toppers in this week's bestseller lists.

Lee Child’s Personal (Bantam) is the Official UK Top 50 and Mass-Market Fiction number one for a second week. The thriller sold 38,707 copies in the seven days ending 2nd May, up 21% week on week. In its first fortnight, the 19th Jack Reacher novel has sold nearly 71,000 copies, ahead of last year’s Never Go Back by 36%. To date, the latter has sold just over 217,000 paperback copies. If the sales increase remains at this level, Child’s latest bestseller will have sold in excess of 295,000 ...
