Trade figures limber up for London Marathon

Figures from across the publishing industry are limbering up for the Virgin London Marathon this Sunday (26th April).

Nick Coveney, head of digital at Blink Publishing, will be running to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society and the Albert Kennedy Trust via his fundraising page.

Samantha Book, digital marketing executive at Penguin Books is taking part to raise money for the Anthony Nolan charity via her page.

Bloomsbury’s senior commissioning editor of design, Rebecca Barden, is raising money via her page in aid of Carers Worldwide, a charity local to her hometown of Welwyn Garden City, which works to raise the profile of carers and support those who are looking after family members with chronic illnesses, disabilities or mental health needs.

Richard Elsley, managing director of Booksolve Computer Systems Ltd, will be taking part to raise money for the Book Trade Charity on his page, and Tom Dunstan, key account manager at HarperCollins, is also running the marathon in aid of children’s reading charity Beanstalk.
