Maxim Jakubowski is a leading and well-respected figure in British crime fiction, and is a celebrated multi award-winning editor, with over 70 anthology volumes to his credit.
Jakubowski said: “As chair-designate of the Crime Writers' Association, it has been an absolute pleasure digging through our prestigious Dagger archives and unearthing past winning stories of such quality, and that this anthology of most ingenious and devious tales will be published to coincide with my term at the reins.”
Sandison added: “Daggers Drawn has it all: the first retrospective of CWA-award-winning short fiction; the biggest and best crime writers out there; and the inestimable genre-knowledge of Maxim Jakubowski at the helm. It's a heady bonanza for any crime fan – I can't wait to bring you the collection of the year.”
