TFP signs two from Kaufman

The Friday Project has signed two new books from cult Canadian author Andrew Kaufman.

Scott Pack, the publisher at the HarperCollins imprint, signed UK and Commonwealth rights, excluding Canada, from Sam Hiyate at The Rights Factory.

Pack said: “Have I just signed up two novels, or have I actually signed eight novella? Either way, we are going to find an innovative way of publishing them.”

Both books are structured as a series of linked stories, featuring extraordinary tales taking place amid real life. Machine, planned for publication in autumn 2014, follows the legacy of a brilliant scientist, while How to Find Love and Hold it Forever, planned for release in 2015, is a series of fable revolving around love.
