An anonymous behind-the-scenes look at modern policing is the latest title to be snapped up by HarperCollins imprint The Friday Project.
Confessions of a Police Constable, by the pseudonymously named “Matt Delito”, started out life as a popular blog, Notes from the Frontline, describing the trials and tribulations of a Metropolitan police officer and including insights into last year’s riots.
The title follows similar books from The Friday Project, including Confessions of a GP, which has sold 250,000 copies in e-book format, and the recently published Confessions of a Male Nurse.
Publisher Scott Pack signed the deal directly with the author.
Confessions of a Police Constable will be published in print and e-book formats in April 2013.
