The paperback jacket for Margaret Atwood’s The Testaments (Chatto & Windus) has been revealed.
Released on 30th June, the paperback swaps around the bright green and dark blue elements of Noma Bar’s original design. Like the hardback, it shows a handmaid and another female figure with arms raised aloft against her garment.
The novel, which jointly won the Booker Prize last year, has pull quotes from the Guardian and the Times prominently displayed on the cover.
Atwood‚Äôs long-awaited sequel to The Handmaid‚Äôs Tale became the biggest-selling fiction hardback of 2019 after its release last September, shifting 331,508 copies for £4.3m.
It was named a book of the year by a host of publications including the Daily Telegraph, Evening Standard, Stylist, Sunday Times, Financial Times and Guardian.
