Tesco is encouraging its Clubcard holders to buy more e-books in a marketing campaign to run over the next two months.
The supermarket's Clubcard holders will be given 100 points every time they buy an e-book from Blinkbox books over £1 until July.
Blinkbox books m.d. Gavin Sathianathan said he wanted customers to find the sort of book that will "make them stay in bed, postpone the housework or stay up just that little bit later." He added: "This is the first of many great offers we will be rolling out to help customers get the most from our service while being rewarded for loving books as much as we do."
Tesco launched its e-book platform blinkbox books in March, selling hundreds of thousands of titles from a variety of publishers for roughly the same price it sells physical books for in Tesco stores. The platform also allows customers to read part of the title for free before choosing whether to buy it or not.
