Penguin Random House has begun 2016 with three announcements that will help define the business for years to come. In January it removed the need for prospective employees to have degrees; two weeks ago it unveiled its “corporate responsibility” initiative; and this week it created a separate audiobook division under the leadership of group director for consumer and digital development Hannah Telfer.
