Take-off for Alpha's new airport books brand

<p>Alpha Retail, the company behind the World News stores, has launched a new airport book retailing concept, Bookbound.</p><p>Alpha claimed that the new chain would compete directly with Books Etc, which operates eight units across five airports.</p><p>Two Bookbound stores have been opened at Birmingham International Airport, alongside existing W H Smith and World News stores.
