The Sunday Times is to join The Times as joint partner for the 2014 Cheltenham Literature Festival.
The festival, which this year takes place from 3rd October to 12th October, has been sponsored by The Times for almost 10 years.
Festival director Jane Furze said the joint sponsorship was “a huge vote of confidence”.
“My team is committed to programming a festival of the highest-quality and we’re really proud to run events that are at once stimulating, surprising, and entertaining,” she added. “Our ambition is to be considered the best literature festival in the world by both industry insiders and audiences alike.”
Established in 1949, Cheltenham Literature Festival sells around 140,000 tickets annually.
Tickets for this year’s event, for which the full line-up has yet to be announced, go on sale to members on Monday 25th August and to the public on Monday 1st September.
