BBC broadcaster Ed Stourton is to chair the panel of judges for this year's Desmond Elliott Prize.
Stourton, the host of BBC Radio 4's "Sunday Show", will be joined by Fanny Blake, author and books editor of Woman & Home, and Amy Worth, previously head of books buying at Amazon.co.uk and now on the Kindle team at the retailer.
The prize, which was inaugurated in honour of the late publisher and literary agent to support new writers, also launches a Facebook page for the first time this year.
This year’s longlist of 10 books will be announced in late March, followed by a shortlist of three in May. The winner will be announced on 23rd June.
